Getting your boyfriend to let you knit in public! So yesterday marked a mile stone for me. My boyfriend did not complain about me knitting in public. I've been knitting for a while, and the couple of times I did bring the knitting out, he said it was "weird" and that he was afraid I would sit in the corner and be anti-social. Well girls, here's how you win him over---stick to your guns and be extra social when you bring the knitting along! I spent the whole weekend knitting and hanging out with friends--I even managed to play Wii in between stitches! After about three successful "knit-yet-be-social" weekends, the BF has finally stopped worrying about how weird it looks and actually likes to show me off to his buddies and say, "Yea, she figured out that sweater all by herself!" So girls, don't be mad because he doesn't understand, show him how cool it can be!
